Another visit to the land’o’cowboys has come and gone. Can’t deny it – I’m suffering from Royal withdrawal today. Or it could just be the lack of sleep from a fabulous weekend.
I traded in my stilettos for wellies. Yup. I now have “barn boots”. All truth be told, I would have walked around the stalls in heels but I didn’t want to be that kid.
If you get tired of looking at horses and cows, there are, well, more horses and cows along with goats and food and shopping and art and so much more to take in. I spent 4 straight days at the Royal this year and still don’t feel like I saw it all.
Oh, and remember that cowboy I snapped some pics of last year? Well, found him again
There’s still lots of fair to take in as it runs until Sunday, November 16. Highlights for this week include:
- Remembrance Day at The Royal on Tuesday, November 11. A full day and night tribute commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of WWI.
